The Confederate flag shouldn't be on our state flag. There are many reasons, but the main one is that it symbolizes hate and rebellion. The symbol is very offensive to most people, but very little people think otherwise. The battle flag would be offensive to African Americans because it symbolizes slavery to them. Even though people say it stands for our heritage it has more offense than heritage. The St. Andrews Cross should not be on the flag.
Our flag is better than our current flag. (in my opinion) The flag that we made has the seal, the red, white, and blue; and the seven stars of the first seceded states. The flag isn't offensive to people and looks similar to our country's flag. The flag shows the red, white, and blue of our country on our state. That is why our flag should replace the current flag Our flag shows Geogia character that people whould actually think "Georgia on my mind".
