This is a picture of a flag that KOREN thought represented Georgia!
The flag changed in 1956 because John Sammons Bell wanted to incorperate the new battle flag. This falg is racist because the confederates wanted slavery, this should have been our flag. It may show heritage but it shows it in a negative way, by making it look like we don't like african americans. I am glad that we changed our state fflag in 1956 because we don't want people to think that we are a racist state.
We changed the flag in 1956 to show that we are for Confederates, but not everyone is. We can be what ever we want to.
Our flag represents our state well because red stands for the many battles that we won, and there are 50 stars for our states and 13 stars for our colonies. It shows our culture.
